This is a small website for a podcast. It collects as little as it can get away with, and there is no advertising network, no profiling and no selling anything on to anybody.

The contact form

If you send a message, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you picked and what you wrote. We use it to reply to you and nothing else. Messages arrive by email and are kept in that inbox, with a copy in KLYK Digital's secure system, as set out below.

Messages you send through the forms on this website are kept in KLYK Digital's secure system, so that we can keep track of them and reply. They are deleted 24 months after they have been dealt with.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a bot is submitting it. Turnstile is designed to do that without tracking you across the web.

Listening

Episodes play from our podcast host, and the apps you listen in (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music) have their own privacy policies which we do not control. Our host gives us rough download numbers, such as which episodes are popular and roughly which country listeners are in. That is not linked to you personally.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites.

There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email eyup@nowtbuthistory.co.uk and we will sort it. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
